Ennead Lab joined representatives from six North American cities to discuss opportunities and challenges for revitalizing underutilized civic spaces and re-thinking how shared assets – parks, libraries, streets, schools, public markets, etc. – might serve the collective needs of local neighborhoods. An initiative of the Municipal Art Society of New York City, the two-day conference brought together delegations from Montreal, Toronto, Chicago, Boston, Philadelphia, and New York City to share challenges and effective approaches for funding, programming, and re-thinking these critical assets.
